Cookies and browser storage
Current setup
The code in this build sets no cookies. It uses no session storage, and it loads no analytics, advertising or social media tools. There is nothing optional to accept or reject, so the cookie notice you may see is informational: it explains this setup and lets you hide the message.
The cookie notice
The notice has two buttons. Close for now hides it for the current page view and saves nothing, so it will appear again on the next page. Don't show again saves one small item in your browser's local storage so the notice stays hidden. That item is not a cookie, contains no identifier and is never sent to this website or anyone else.
| Name | Type | Purpose | When it is set | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
tsg-cookie-notice | Local storage (not a cookie) | Remembers that you chose to hide the cookie notice. Value: dismissed. | Only when you select “Don't show again” | Until you clear this site's data or use the button below |

How your choices are handled
Archive filter selections and anything typed into the correction draft tool are held in your browser's memory while the page is open. They are not remembered between visits. Reloading the page returns everything to its default state.
Hosting-related mechanisms
The service that hosts these pages may use its own technical mechanisms, such as security or load-balancing features, depending on how the site is deployed. These are outside the website's own code. If such a mechanism sets a cookie, it will be described here.
External sites
Source and support links lead to independently operated websites, which may use their own cookies under their own policies once you visit them.
If this changes
If non-essential tools are ever added, they must not load until you have made a choice, rejecting must be as easy as accepting, and this page must list exactly what is used. A banner alone would not make a deployment compliant; the underlying tools have to behave accordingly.
